She's remained out of view ever since welcoming baby twins back on April 30th, but Mariah Carey was finally spotted stepping out in Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon (July 6).
The 41-year-old singer tried her best to avoid paparazzi lenses to no avail as she was joined by a pair of personal trainers while awaiting transportation in the Big Apple locale.
Certainly doing all in her power to return to pre-pregnancy form, Mimi is rumored to be preparing for a role on the U.S. version of "X Factor" - which could last all season long.
An insider recently told Entertainment Weekly, ?Mariah and Simon are great friends, and now [that] she has had her babies, it?s very possible that she will be involved [in] some way in the later stages of the show. She has always said she wanted to work with the show, so it?s something they will certainly be discussing ideas for soon."
Adding fuel to the fire, creator Simon Cowell dished, ?I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows. I met her recently and she was on great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with.?
